1 thick slice of bread, of choice toasted
Plant Provisions Tuscan Slices
1 thick slice of heirloom tomato
1 1⁄2 cups vegan mayonnaise, of choice
2⁄3 cups fresh basil leaves
1 garlic clove
1 tablespoon lemon juice, more to taste
1 teaspoon lemon zest
Salt, to taste
In a blender or small food processor, add vegan mayonnaise, basil, garlic, lemon juice and zest and blitz to combine. Add additional lemon juice or a splash of water to blitz easier if needed. Taste and add salt as needed.
Slather the toasted bread with basil aioli and top with copious amounts of Plant Provisions Tuscan slices and a thick slice of heirloom tomato.
Sprinkle a little flaked salt on top and additional fresh basil.
